A sok jópofa Dart stuff ellenére nem értem, miért volt szükség még egy nyelvre. Miért nem a Java alapú GWT ágat nyomják ... Esetleg a Dart-ot szánják a GWT utódjául ...

Its a somewhat complicated process to get this working as it depends on allot of tools (ruby, java, npm, ...), but we have been using it for about a month now and its fairly stable.

To make things a little more easier for people starting out with Dart on iOS and Android I have created a dartgap-samples repo at https://github.com/Qalqo/dartgap-samples - It contains a small DartGap API sample app and also a larger (currently unfinished) HTML5 game called DartWarrior that we plan to dump in the app-store so people can see how to develop real life mobile apps with Dart.
